Danger Prayer

Lord, You are my hiding place; You protect me from trouble (Psalm 32:7). Even when I walk through the valley of death, I will not be afraid because You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me (Psalm 23:4).

Thank You, Lord, for being my light and my salvation. Why should I be afraid? You protect me from danger—so why should I tremble? (Psm 27:1, 3).

Lord, let this situation be a reminder that I need to walk uprightly before You faithfully so I can confidently claim Your promises of protection, because You rescue the godly from danger, but You let the wicked fall into trouble (Prov 11:8). I rest in the assurance no harm will befall me; no disaster will come near me for You have commanded Your angels to guard me in all my ways (Psm 91:10-11).

Thank You for Your faithfulness to me. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Father, in the name of Jesus, please lift me up to You. I pray a hedge of protection around myself. Thank You, Father, that You are a wall of fire around me and that you set Your angels around me. Thank you for allowing me to dwell in the secret place of of the Most High and abide under the shadow of you the Almighty. You are a refuge and a fortress, in You will I trust. I shall not be afraid of the terror by night or the fiery dart that flies by day. Only with my eyes will I behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because I have made You, Lord, my refuge and fortress, no evil shall befall me, no accident will overtake me neither shall any plague or calamity come near me. For you give Your angels charge over me, to keep me in all Your ways.

Father, because You have set your love upon me, therefore will You deliver me? I will call upon You, and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble, and will satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation. Not a hair of my head shall perish. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
