O Lord God, your Son Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In Your resurrection You restore life and peace in all creation. Comfort, all victims of intolerance and those oppressed by their fellow humans. Remember in Your kingdom those who have died. Lead the oppressors towards compassion and give hope to the suffering. “‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8.36-37).” Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
